Jedi Mind Fuck Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis) is a newer strain created in the 2000s. The interesting name is a reference to the popular Sci-fi franchise Star Wars. In Star Wars, the protagonist sect “Jedi’s” have the ability to access the Force, a mysterious energy field that gives the Jedi’s extraordinary abilities such as levitating objects and tricking enemy minds. The tricking of the mind is called “Jedi Mind Trick”. The name of this mushroom is a direct reference to the Jedi’s ability to control someone else’s mind and thought.

The history of the Jedi Mind Fuck strain originates in the state of Georgia. While out on a magic mushroom hunt, a person named Mycojoe discovered some in a pile of cow dung. After taking the mushrooms home, he began culturing them. Starting with the wild spores, Mycojoe grew and isolated the best of the spores. Soon, he discovered an isolate that was powerful and grew enormous mushrooms. Mycojoe knew he had something special on his hands. He then started distributing the mushroom under the name of Jedi Mind Fuck. He likely came up with the name after his first dose of them. Now, Jedi Mind Fuck magic mushrooms are some of the most sought-after psilocybin-containing mushrooms on the internet.

Honestly the best shrooms I've ever had, start small and go up from there as they can be pretty intense, best time ever having 7-8g over the course of a day. Most incredible visuals both open and closed eyes, Amazing euphoric state where I felt like a kid again.. 10/10 recommend! I think I'll be sticking with these from now on.

So these ones I was using as my gold standard. I wanted to build up my experience levels to be able to experience these and that’s exactly what I did.
Wow!! Wow! Wow!
I went lite as I always am when trying a new strain. 2g’s weighed.
They hit quite fast but my stomach was empty too. Within 30 mins I was aware of the change visually and introspectively. A small dinner party of 4 was the grouping. I started to become quiet and needed to leave the room I was in to allow the effects to wash over me. I started to see walls and right angles move. Not in a threatening manner, just move. Shift. Breathe almost. Two of us were playing with the Jedi and the others with Thrasher.
He and I sat in a less lite room and just discussed what we were seeing. It was FANTASTIC!! Visually and I think I was hearing things too ever so slightly.
We went for a walk but it took us 30 mins of idiocy to locates our shoes, hats etc before we could walk out the door. It was a keystone cops episode and as far as we were concerned, victory for being able to accomplish that task.
When we hit the beach, it started to rain and we all sat there and loved everything about it.
The lights were soft but yet welcoming to our eyes. Shadows seems to move but not once did it feel creepy. Just fascinating to watch and allow it to happen.
Next time, I’ll take more.
Learning curve and I highly recommend the following. I had had a couple of drinks before they kicked in. Don’t. Just allow for the full effects. Drink water and enjoy. It was cloudy but I can only imagine what a star lite night would be like. May the force be with you my fellow Jedi’s.
